About Le Resale

Le Resale is the dedicated marketplace for buying and selling pre-loved Clare V. products.  When you’re ready to find something new, Le Resale is a way to make sure your beautiful Clare V. item finds a happy new home.  Good news for you, good news for the planet!

Ready to sell?

  • Create or login with a Clare V. account and click “Sell Now.”
  • Only Clare V. products may be sold on Le Resale. (List items right from your order history!)
  • All items must be in good, gently used condition.  
  • Clare V. reviews all submissions and has the right to approve or deny listings.
  • Receive 100% of the purchase price in store credit!  Credit can be redeemed at clarev.com or any of our Clare V. stores.
  • Please see Listing Your Item for more details and instructions.

Ready to buy?

  • Browse through the community's collection of gently loved Clare V. items.  Simply click “Add to Cart” to purchase, and proceed through our secure checkout as normal.
  • Items ship directly from your fellow Le Resale community member.  Once delivered, confirm and rate your item.
  • All pre-loved purchases are final unless the item is not in the condition described by the seller.

A few exclusions…

  • Sample sale exclusives, monogrammed items, third party, Nordstrom exclusives, Clare Vivier branded items, beauty and fragrance are not eligible for resale.
  • We are not able to support international purchasing or selling on Le Resale at this time.
  • Clare V. gift cards and discount codes are not applicable toward Le Resale purchases.

How to list your Clare V. item on Le Resale

Create or log into your Clare V. account.  Select an item from your purchase history, or select “I don’t know the name of this item” if you don’t see your Clare V. item.

Please note: the following items are excluded from Le Resale: sample sale items, third party items, monogrammed items, products labelled Clare Vivier, Nordstrom or other retailer exclusive items.

After selecting the correct item, please provide a thorough description.  Be sure to note any marks, scratches, stains, etc.  Feel free to share any fun details that the future owner may enjoy knowing!  

Select the appropriate condition for your bag.  A helpful guideline:

  • Excellent: Unused.
  • Very Good: Minimal signs of wear.
  • Good: Moderate signs of wear. Functions perfectly.

Include photos of your item.  Be sure to include:

  • Full item view, front and back.
  • Clare V. tag, logo and/or zipper medallion.
  • Interior bag view, including pockets.
  • Strap, belt, and any other accessories.
  • Close-up view of any marks, stains, etc.
  • Select from the prompted listing price or choose your own.  
  • If offering your bag without a strap, we recommend reducing the price by $50.  

Each listing is reviewed by the Clare V. team for approval before being published.

To avoid denial or a dispute of your listing, please be as accurate and descriptive as possible for the future owner!  We hope this allows everyone to find a fun new Clare V. bag to love.

Once your item sells

You will receive an email (or text if opted in) noting that your item has sold, and a subsequent USPS shipping label to mail the item within 3 days.

Upon delivery, the buyer has 72 hours to confirm the condition of their item, or initiate a dispute if necessary.

Once the delivery and condition are confirmed, you will receive their listing amount in Clare V. store credit via email, which can be used either in store or online at clarev.com to pick out something new to love!

What if my item doesn’t sell?

If your item doesn’t sell after a bit, you’ll be prompted to reduce the listing price.  If after several prompts you either don’t reduce the price, or the item does not sell, the listing will be removed.

If your listing is removed, we recommend resubmitting with updated item photos, description, and listing price, to make sure you are accurately and reasonably listing your item.  This will help your item find a new home, and you to find something new to love!

All Le Resale items are fulfilled and shipped by the seller. All orders ship via USPS ground.

When will my order ship?

  • Your purchase is shipped by your fellow Le Resale community member!  They have three days to ship your item, with a reminder just in case.  We’re sure they’re working on getting your item to you as quickly as possible, but please allow a day or two extra for unexpected life delays! 

Will I receive tracking?

  • Yes!  As soon as USPS receives your item, you will be emailed tracking information.

Can I cancel my order?

  • Le Resale orders are final sale, and ineligible for cancellation.  

What do I do after my order arrives?

  • Please confirm delivery and the item’s condition within 3 days, then enjoy your new purchase!
